28 hours later & we’re here

Well, 28 hours after waking up in our Jindalee, Australia bed we were in Nashville. 33 hours finally got to sleep . Zero on the planes! Flights went well … and happy with the V-Australia service.

Managed to come down with this irritating hayfever thing halfway across the Pacific, with my ears still yet to unpop. We had our first meal together with family last night. Donna’s (Dale’s sister’s) turn – a yummy Mexican serve yourself thing. It’s great having Jeremy with us for the trip!

Tonight we head to the Opry together. The downer has been waking up after all this at 4 am (Nashville time). Nevermind, all those scintillating US home shopping shoes on early-morning cable. Blessings

After two hour awake, we got back to sleep at 5 am and slept any five hours – woke up @ 10 am.  Unheard of for me.

So glad to hear you survived the long haul to US. I believe that a group of 29 students from Brisbane Girls Grammar may have been on the same flight – Kim’s cousin’s daughter was one of them!

Have just enjoyed an inspiring Katie Wallis and “Remember Seven”

Enjoy every minute of every day in US

    Love from us all
